CAMINO GATEWAY ROUNDABOUT SCULPTURE
The sculpture was fabricated out of Corten steel with a rust patina, featuring cut out designs representing the local area, informed by community survey.
The sculpture—an artful rendering of an apple—represents an exercise in community self-definition and an elegant exploration of the culture, economy and values of Camino/Fruitridge Ag. District.
'BLUE'
Inspired by a local wild mustang Blue from the Pinenut herd of Fish Springs area in Nevada. Terrie constructed this life size one-of-a-kind steel sculpture using the old school oxygen-acetelyene techniques taught to her by her father. The sculpture was created starting with one small metal rod, during her month long artist residency at Buffalo Creek Arts Center in Gardinerville Nevada.
The sculpture is now a part of the permanent collection at Buffalo Creek.
RCPD MEMORIAL
On September 17, 2021 Rancho Cordova Police Department dedicated a memorial to honor the life of Mark Stasyuk who died tragically in the line of duty on the same day in 2018. Terrie Bennett was commissioned to design the sculpture which was installed and dedicated September 2021.

PRAYER FOR PEACE
Inspiration for Prayer for Peace Sculpture
As the events of 9-11 unfolded around us, hope seemed lost. Blame and fear were growing as fingers pointed at those that the media had painted as our enemy. We were being divided by color, race and religion.
As I sat in silence, stunned by the new reality shaping our world, I was shown a vision that expanded my heart with hope for the future. This vision came to me fully formed in answer to my question “How may I serve”?
HEYDAR ALIYEV CENTER AWARD
Zaha Hadid, the Iraqi-British architect was the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize & is considered the world’s leading female architect. She is one of the most impressive & inspiring architects of our time. One of her recent architectural masterpieces is the award winning Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan
It was an honor to be commissioned to create a sculpture to represent her design a few years ago. Zaha Hadid passed away due to a heart attack in March 2016. Her Spirit lives on in the amazing spaces she created.

Terrie Bennett 2010 commission to design and produce a Sculpture Commemorating NASA’s 30 year Space Shuttle Program.
Currently on display at the Space Foundation Headquarters, Colorado Springs, CO and NASA headquarters Houston, TX.

Women of Peace is a multi-media project inspired to honor the women that have committed their lives to work for Peace, Justice and Equality .
