“Women Forging Peace Through Partnership”

Women of Peace is a multi-media project inspired to honor the legacy of the women that have committed their lives to work for Peace, Justice and Equality in the world.

The foundation of this project is built around the creation of a Women of Peace sculpture. Sculptor Terrie Bennett will take hand casts of women peace leaders around the world. These hands will be cast in bronze and connected together hand in hand…creating a circle of oneness, solidarity and partnership. An homage of women’s willingness to cross cultural,ethnic, religious and political barriers to work together & create a new culture of peace.

Through the media of film we will amplify the vital voices of these women…sharing their wisdom through their stories and igniting our own call to action and the many ways in which we can both support and join them to create more peace in the world.

Join us as we embark on a journey of exploring the world to discover who these women are, the ways they are working together to pave a new way of living in which peace is possible. Over the course of the next two years we will begin with the Women Nobel Peace Laureates and journey the world…searching for women who know that peace is possible and are striving to build an equalitarian society based on partnership instead of domination.

The feminine force of creation is forging a new way of peace in the world by connecting, collaborating, building networks and working in partnership with one another~
